Delivery across Europe with GLS
Offer customers delivery according to their preferences. The Toret GLS plugin supports the GLS Parcel Shop service for delivery to pick-up points and boxes in 6 countries. The GLS Courier service is used for delivery to the customer’s address in 25 European countries. You can also use the additional service ThinkGreen for ecological delivery, parcel insurance, or flexible delivery.
The plugin supports the GLS Parcelshop service, allowing customers to choose the option of delivery to a pick-up point or box.
GLS Parcelshop can be used for countries: Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, and Romania.
The customer can select a pick-up point in the checkout using a pop-up window with a map. Delivery to boxes can be disabled in the plugin.

GLS Parcel Shops form a comprehensive network of more than 40,000 pick-up and drop-off points throughout Europe. Parcel Shops are located in the premises of contract partners and serve as an alternative way for sending and picking up parcels transported in the GLS transport network.
The plugin supports the GLS Courier service, allowing customers to choose the option of delivery to their own address. GLS Courier supports 24 countries.

Convenient delivery selection at checkout
Simple and convenient branch selection in the checkout is ensured by the official GLS map widget. It allows selection from the map, text search, and filtering. It also lists current information for each pick-up point.
The plugin also offers other features for the checkout. Optional automatic widget opening when selecting a pick-up point speeds up customer flow, as does automatic filling of the delivery address based on the selected branch. For individual shipping methods, it is possible to choose custom or default icons.
The plugin adds the official GLS map widget to the checkout, from which customers can comfortably choose a delivery point. In the widget, it is possible to select from the map or search by text and filter pick-up points. Customers will also find detailed information about branches and boxes here.
In the plugin, you can enable a function that saves the customer a step when selecting a pick-up point. The automatic map opening function displays the map widget already when selecting the GLS Parcelshop shipping method, without the need for an additional click.
However, the button remains visible in case the customer changes their mind and wants to change the pick-up point.
In the plugin settings, you can enable the function to automatically use the pick-up point address as the delivery address for the order. If active, the delivery address will be automatically filled according to the selected branch for orders to a pick-up point (GLS Parcelshop).
In the plugin settings, you can enable uploading custom icons for any shipping from GLS. Icon selection is done simply via WordPress Media.
Furthermore, you can add custom CSS for the icon at shipping and at branch selection and thus influence its appearance.
Rich shipping configuration options
The GLS plugin allows you to set shipping options exactly as you need. Prices, availability, free shipping, and Cash on delivery surcharge can be simply clicked in the administration.
For each shipping type, you can set a different price – uniform or scaled according to the weight or dimensions of the shipment. A Cash on delivery surcharge can also be set and scaled. The plugin also allows offering popular free shipping when exceeding a specified order value.
The plugin also provides other useful features, such as automatic conversion of shipment price to another currency, shipping availability settings, dimension check, custom surcharge settings, and many others that will make your daily work with shipments easier.
For each shipping type (GLS Parcelshop, GLS Courier), you can set a different shipping price. You can use a fixed price or set rules for different prices by weight or by dimensions of products in the order.
For each carrier and country, it is possible to set a custom threshold for when free shipping becomes available.
The plugin can work with the WooCommerce Cash on Delivery payment method. For GLS Parcel Shop and GLS Courier shipping, it can be used in selected countries.
The COD price can be determined as fixed or scaled according to the order value. At the same time, you can set an order sum from which COD will be surcharge-free. You can also set a maximum allowed COD value, exceeding which COD will not be available.
VAT for the COD fee can be determined as fixed or based on products in the cart.
If you use multiple currencies in your e-shop, a fixed COD rate can be determined for each currency separately.
With the plugin, you can create custom surcharges that can be assigned to a product or added globally. You can thus easily enable, for example, a surcharge for gift wrapping, fragile shipment, or, for example, atypical shipment dimensions.
In the plugin settings, it is possible to enter limits for shipments sent with this carrier:
- minimum and maximum package weight in kg
- maximum width, height, or depth of the package in m
Furthermore, shipping availability can be restricted by
- minimum and maximum order value
- minimum and maximum quantity of products in the cart
- minimum and maximum product price
You can set limits and availability separately for each shipping method and delivery country. Thanks to this, you can set the shipping offer exactly as you need.
For each GLS shipping service, it is possible to activate a check for maximum product weight and dimensions.
This ensures that a situation where the carrier refuses to accept the parcel due to excessive weight or size does not occur.
The plugin allows entering a weight threshold for automatic splitting of the shipment into multiple parcels, including adding the set packaging price.
Example: With a splitting threshold of 10 kg, an order totaling 24 kg will be split into 3 parcels weighing 10 kg, 10 kg, and 4 kg.
GLS requires its value in a certain currency (e.g., EUR) when sending a parcel with COD abroad. At the same time, this value is indicated on the carrier label.
The plugin can automatically retrieve rates from the Czech National Bank (cnb.cz), National Bank of Slovakia (nbs.sk) servers, or allow entering custom rates.
You can select your preferred method in settings.
The Toret GLS plugin supports shipping zones in WooCommerce. You can easily set this method only for selected shipping zones.
You can set a specific tax status (taxable or non-taxable) for the shipping method.
Complete shipment management directly from administration
Manage orders directly from WooCommerce, without having to switch to the carrier’s website, and save time. Sending data to the system, label printing, ordering pickup, or shipment tracking, you can handle everything directly from the e-shop interface – simply, quickly, and without errors.
Creating a shipment in the GLS system is a matter of one click, you can also use bulk actions or fully automate the sending. After creating a shipment, labels can be printed directly from WooCommerce. You can download them from the order overview or detail, individually and in bulk.
Ordering parcel pickup is very simple. Just enter the date you want to hand over the shipment to the carrier. You can also set up automation and order pickup when creating a shipment.
The plugin also allows shipment tracking. You will see the shipment status directly in the order overview and detail. The tracking link is automatically added to the order email for customers, as well as information about the selected pick-up point.
Thanks to the connection to the GLS API, it is possible to fully manage the shipment in WooCommerce. You can send the order to the GLS system, delete it from the GLS system, print the parcel label, get a tracking link, check the parcel transport status, or order parcel pickup. Everything simply and with one click from the order overview or order detail.
Shipments sent via the plugin can also be found in the GLS Customer Zone.
Once you have the shipment ready for the customer, send it to the GLS system with one click via the API service. No need to transcribe anything.
You can also use automatic submission to the system based on order status change or bulk submission from the WooCommerce order overview.
You can download labels for created shipments from the order overview or the order details page in WooCommerce.
You can choose the label format—A4 4×1, A4 2×2, Connect, or Thermo or ShipIt — and the print position.
The plugin also supports bulk printing of labels from the order overview in WooCommerce.
You can add a custom note and reference to the labels.
Using the plugin, you can set up parcel pickup ordering. You order pickup when sending the parcel to the GLS system. Simply enter the date you want to hand over the shipment to the carrier, and you’re done.
The plugin allows adding multiple pickup addresses. If you have entered more, you can select in the order detail when ordering pickup where GLS should come for the parcel.
You can also order pickup via bulk actions in WooCommerce for multiple orders at once.
In the order overview, you can use a link to go to the Shipment Tracking page with an automatically pre-filled number and immediately know what is happening with the parcel.
The pick-up point that the customer selects for the order is displayed in the administration under the order, in the order email, and on the e-shop thank you page.
The Toret GLS plugin supports bulk actions in WooCommerce, which you can find in the order overview.
