Zásilkovna is a shipping company widely used across the Czech Republic. Its pickup points are almost everywhere and it offers competitive pricing, which makes it one of the most popular delivery methods among customers. In today’s article, we’ll show you a simple guide on how to set up Zásilkovna in WordPress.
The first step in adding this shipping method to your e-shop is registering in the Zásilkovna system. Only a created account with completed details allows you to send shipments as a business entity.
The second step is connecting your WooCommerce e-shop with Zásilkovna via a plugin. This will allow you to fully manage your shipments directly from the e-shop administration and offer this delivery method to your customers at checkout.
The e-shop name, owner, and address used in this guide are fictitious.
Registering an e-shop with Zásilkovna step by step
Do you have an e-shop, an email address, and a phone number? Great! These are the main details you’ll need.
First, visit www.zasilkovna.cz, hover over For businesses in the top right corner. A menu will appear, where you click Register a new e-shop in the lower left.
Next, two boxes will appear. In the left box, click Create e-shop.
You will now be taken to a registration form where you fill in basic details such as country, account name (you can use your e-shop name), email address, phone number, and a password of your choice. After completing all required fields, check both boxes at the bottom – consent to personal data processing and acknowledgment of user account rights. Click “Register”.
After clicking “Register”, a window will appear redirecting you to login and a page where you need to complete a few more details such as user information and billing details. Click “Back to login”.
A simple login window will pop up where you enter the email and password you chose. You can also check “Remember me” if you wish. Click “Log in”.

The next step is entering billing details, which are required to create your e-shop as a sender. In the left menu, click “User information” and then “Billing addresses”.
Click “New billing address”.
Fill in the required fields, especially name, address, contact purpose, Company ID, VAT ID, and bank account number. Click “Save” in the lower left. If completed correctly, you’ll see a green confirmation message stating “Billing address successfully saved”. If there are errors or missing required fields, a red notification will indicate the issue.
Now we can move on to the sender. In the dropdown under “User information”, click “Senders”. In the bottom right of the Senders page, click “New sender”.
Fill in the new sender form. In the “Type” dropdown (at the top), choose from “Company”, “Online shop”, or “Individual”. Select the option that applies to you and continue filling in the details.
“Name” is public and may appear on shipping labels, while “Label” is an internal identifier useful if you have multiple senders. This label is also required for connecting Zásilkovna with your e-shop (see below).
Select the billing address you created earlier. If you haven’t created a billing address beforehand, it won’t be available for selection. After completing all fields, click “Save”.
Your sender is now set up and you can create additional senders, submit shipments, and process orders in the Zásilkovna interface. For efficient e-shop operation, you still need to connect it to Zásilkovna using the Zásilkovna plugin.
Connecting your WooCommerce e-shop with Zásilkovna
If you don’t want to manually enter shipments and fill in all data for each package individually, you need to connect your e-shop with the Zásilkovna system. An integration plugin will help you with that.

How to connect your WooCommerce e-shop with Zásilkovna?
You can connect your WooCommerce e-shop with the Zásilkovna system only after successful registration in Zásilkovna, which we described above. After that, the whole process is very simple. See for yourself.
1. Purchase, install, and activate the Zásilkovna plugin
Purchase the Zásilkovna plugin, download it, install it, and activate it like any other WordPress plugin. In the order confirmation email, you’ll find a license key that you simply copy into the designated field in the plugin settings.
2. Connecting the plugin with the Zásilkovna system
For your e-shop to communicate directly with the Zásilkovna system via API, you need to enter the API password and E-shop label into the plugin. You can find both of these values in your Zásilkovna account.
You can find the API password in your profile. After logging in, click your profile name in the top right corner…
…and copy the API password from your profile.
You can also obtain the E-shop label in the Zásilkovna system, in the Senders section.
Enter the API password and label into the designated fields in the plugin. After clicking Save, your e-shop is connected to Zásilkovna.

3. Configure the plugin according to your needs
