With the Adulto.cz plugin, you can verify the customer’s age even before the order is completed, thus reducing costs. Verification with Adulto.cz is cheaper than the carrier’s verification service, and it is faster and more convenient.
Adulto.cz can verify the customer’s age via bank identity. Using the plugin, you simply connect your e-shop with your Adulto.cz account and verify age directly in the e-shop checkout via a widget. You can choose from 11 locations for placing the widget, e.g., at the billing address, carrier selection, or at the order submission button. The necessity of age verification can be easily enabled in the detail of the given product.
The plugin includes an automatic order blocking function if verification does not take place and the order contains a product that requires it. This function can optionally be turned on or off. For received orders, the plugin displays a note about the verification performed.
Setting up the plugin is very simple, just insert the public and secret keys you get in your Adulto.cz account.
The Adulto.cz Widget is placed in the checkout using a WooCommerce hook. The plugin supports a total of 11 hooks for widget placement.
You can thus display the widget, for example, at the billing address, shipping, or right at the order submission button.
A new tab appears in the detail of each product in WooCommerce, where it is possible to require age verification using Adulto.cz.
If you want to set age verification only for a selected variation, the plugin supports this option. You do this by checking the verification condition directly at the variation.
You can set verification for an entire product category just as easily – in its detail.
In the plugin, you can enable automatic blocking of orders containing a product that requires age verification.
This way you can be sure that any potential order was created by a customer whose age was verified.
In case the order contains a product where age verification is required, information about verification via Adulto.cz is displayed with the sent order.
The plugin, like the service, supports displaying the widget in Czech and Slovak.
